Bändli Camp

Ein herziges Plätzchen für eine kleine Auszeit in der Natur. Idyllisch gelegen am Bach mit praktischer Ausstattung (Tische und Bänke, Möglichkeit zum Grillieren), ideal für Wanderungen auf die Rigi (direkt am Wanderweg gelegen oder alrernativ nahe der Kräbel-Gondel). Plarz ist preislich an der oberen Grenze.

Very nice welcome, we felt comfortable in this place. However, the price is at the upper limit.

Everything tip-top

Beautifully located spot between the forest and the stable. We stayed there for two nights. A warm welcome from the neighbor, and we also got to meet the host in person the next day. Super friendly and very helpful with information, etc. Thank you for the lovely days, despite the rain (: Toilet right next door with a sink. The fire pit with a grill grate was great (wood needs to be collected/bought). For the rainy days, there's a covered area by the stable with two concrete benches and a table - wonderful. The pitch itself: leveling ramps are recommended, otherwise, you'll be on a slope. The spot is less suitable for caravans (steep road to the pitch, not much space to maneuver a trailer). Electricity: only a standard plug, no camping plug (CEE) available (maybe not yet ;))

The camp is beautifully located. The children really enjoyed the Galloway cows and had fun playing by the nearby stream. The camp is right on a hiking trail – but that didn't bother us at all. Josef was a great host – he gladly took the time to answer all the children's questions about the Galloway cows. We can highly recommend this camp. Tip: If you don't feel like collecting wood in the forest, you can buy firewood at the nearby forestry yard (24/7).

We had four wonderful days at Bändli-Camp. Even though we were often out and about – thanks to the great weather – everything was perfect for us. Sepp even moved the cows to another pasture especially for us, so we could sleep wonderfully thanks to the nearby stream – thanks again for that! It's also great that, apart from the few hikers who mainly come up the trail in the morning, you're really alone here and can enjoy peace and quiet in the evenings.
