Camp Buchschachenegg

Our farm is nestled approximately 6km outside the charming village of Marbach, Entlebuch. From this idyllic spot, you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding hills and the majestic Schrattenfluh. Situated at 1160 meters above sea level, our camp is perched on a small knoll, bordering a lush meadow and a rarely used gravel path. The scenic hiking route 65 passes right by. The site is easily accessible via a well-maintained road. Fresh drinking water is available in the barn, just 50 meters away. This is also where you'll find the new WC and shower facilities (available for an additional fee), operational during the frost-free season. A fire pit with a grill grate is provided for your enjoyment. Firewood can be purchased for 5 Swiss Francs (per paper shopping bag). Hikers will delight in the wonderful tours available from here to Hohgant, Schrattenfluh, or Wachthubel. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the Marbachegg gondola for exciting excursions.
