Nestled in Quartino, just 5 minutes from the stunning Lake Maggiore and a mere 15 minutes from the vibrant towns of Locarno, Ascona, and Bellinzona, this unique farm stay offers easy access to the picturesque valleys of Locarno (Valle Verzasca and Valle Maggia). Our two charming campsites are located on a working farm, home to friendly goats and an adjacent vineyard. Immerse yourself in the idyllic Ticino surroundings, enjoying a stay in close contact with our farm animals and the beautiful vineyard. Strategically positioned, you're just a short stroll from both Lake Maggiore and the fascinating Bolle di Magadino nature reserve. We offer two distinct camping options: a comfortable camper van situated at the edge of the vineyard, and a cozy tent pitched under a pergola, ensuring pleasant shade even during summer. You're welcome to make a campfire, but please bring your own charcoal. For cycling enthusiasts, a small bike workshop is available, along with a covered space to securely store your bicycles overnight. Super nice place, everything very clean. Public transport very close. The only small drawback is really the street noise, but Silverio can't be blamed for that, thank you for everything.

Large pitch under a tree right next to the vineyards and goat stables. Quartino train station is a 2-minute walk away, but we didn't find it disturbing. However, the road that runs directly past the farm is clearly audible - unfortunately even at night. So, if you're not looking for absolute silence, you're well connected - also to cycling and hiking trails. The host, Silverio, is a friendly host and treated us to grapes and fresh goat's milk. The goat cheese you can buy from him is also delicious. The sanitary facilities are in the basement of his house, are neat and clean, but could use an upgrade to a more modern standard.

Leider ist der Platz direkt an einer stark befahrenen Strasse und an einer Eisenbahnlinie. Wir waren mit einem Zelt dort und es war sehr lärmig vom Verkehr und dazu lief auch noch die ganze Zeit ein Kompressor aus dem Ziegenstall. Leider fehlt auch die Infrastruktur die es braucht zum Campen. Kein Becken für den Abwasch, kein Tiefkühler für Kühlelemente. Es hat ein WC und eine Dusche ohne Lüftung. Für Durchreisende und für eine Nacht o.k. aber nicht für einen Campingurlaub.

Enjoyed a wonderful break at Silverio. The goat cheese is outstanding, highly recommended. Very friendly welcome. The street noise wasn't too bad. We slept very well and would gladly come again.

Die Campingwiese liegt direkt an einer lauten Landstraße und dahinter führt die Zugstrecke für den Güterverkehr. Leider haben wir keine gute Nacht hier verbracht.

Guter Stellplatz für eine Nacht; für längeren Aufenthalt weniger geeignet. Platz befindet sich zwischen der Strasse und der Bahnlinie. Toilette und Dusche sehr sauber. Stromanschluss vorhanden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gut zu erreichen. Preis zu hoch.
