Gaia - Gorda sotto le stelle

Das Gaia, promoted as part of the "Million Stars Hotel" campaign, is the ideal place for a special, romantic experience. Thanks to its unique design and large glass walls, guests can enjoy an unparalleled experience immersed in nature. Your accommodation is located approximately 10 meters from the Gorda Hut in the Blenio Valley. The Gorda Hut is situated on a high plateau at 1,800 meters above sea level, offering unique and spectacular views of the Blenio Valley, as well as the mighty peaks and the Adula/Rheinwaldhorn glacier. This location is internationally renowned among astronomy researchers for its optimal conditions for stargazing. Gaia offers a bed for 2 people with duvet and pillows, electricity from its own solar system, and heating. A table is reserved for guests in the hut, and they can choose from five specially selected menus. Toilets and showers are also available in the hut, accessible 24 hours a day (shower 5 CHF, please bring your own towel). Gaia can be reached via the mountain road from Largario or Olivone to Alpe Gorda, or on foot/MTB along the numerous mountain trails leading to the hut from Passo del Lucomagno or the Nara area.
