Our self-sufficient Maiensäss (alpine hut) is uniquely secluded at approximately 1360 meters above sea level in the Beverin Nature Park, just 200 meters off the Schamserberg Road.
This charming hut features a kitchen, living room, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. The Maiensäss comprises only our hut and its accompanying stable. There are no other inhabited huts in the vicinity, ensuring guests can enjoy this idyllic setting in complete privacy.
A natural spring provides fresh water, and a barbecue area with seating is also available for your enjoyment. Sports equipment can be stored in the stable.
Included are solar power and electricity from our own water turbine, perfect for charging mobile devices and e-bikes.
"Hüttli-Lädeli" (Little Hut Shop): My cousin Margrith and I love to prepare delicious (Grisons) specialties from plants we gather ourselves from nature (or our gardens). These can be purchased at Stgeavs, depending on availability and season.

We were able to spend wonderful and relaxing days in the Maiensäss. Peace, pure nature, a fantastically beautiful view of the mountains – for us, a paradise! Everything is so lovingly furnished and available. We immediately felt very comfortable.
Margret is a wonderful host! We were warmly welcomed (despite arriving late), and excellently "instructed" about the kitchen, hiking possibilities, tips for restaurants, etc.

For the second time, we had the pleasure of spending a few days in your beautifully renovated Maiensäss. The first time was in summer with our camper van, and now in a snowy winter landscape. We spent cozy days walking and then warming up in front of the Swedish stove. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. Thank you very much for your wonderful, uncomplicated hospitality and for sharing your little paradise with guests. We were also very happy about the delicious Capuns and the fine barley soup 😋.
