Stay in a Yurt – Nature, Comfort, and a Touch of Adventure The yurt, with a diameter of five meters, is ideally suited as a cozy retreat for one to two people. It can be reached from Bern main station in about 30 minutes. The location offers not only magnificent mountain views but also numerous excursion possibilities in the Oberbalm area. Seasons & Special Features Our yurt is perfectly adapted to the European climate. Two layers of thick sheep's wool provide excellent insulation, making the yurt habitable all year round. In the winter months, a wood-burning stove creates cozy warmth and an atmospheric ambiance. Breakfast CHF 25 per person (Payment via Twint or cash) We are happy to prepare a delicious breakfast for you, which can be enjoyed either indoors by the fire or outdoors on the terrace in the morning sun, depending on the weather. The offering varies seasonally but always includes many regional delicacies. Garden Tubs The garden tubs are located behind the yurt and can be booked additionally upon request. You heat them yourself with wood – making the warming-up process part of the experience and the open-air bath even cozier. Cold Season (October–April) CHF 45 per person (Payment via Twint or cash) Especially in winter, this is a wonderful way to warm up. The tubs are prepared by us. We provide bath additives such as dried flowers from our summer garden, bath salts, and essential oils. Bath towels and bathrobes are available. Warm Season (May–September) CHF 35 per person (Payment via Twint or cash) In the summer months, the tubs are also perfect for refreshing yourself. Please let us know four days before your arrival if you would like to book the bathtubs or breakfast.
