Enjoy a magical overnight stay in our new yurt! A yurt is the perfect blend of a tent and a house: you'll hear every sound of nature, yet you'll be protected from wind and weather, feeling cozy as if in a snug cave! And with soft sheepskin under your feet and the warmth of the fire on your skin, you'll treat yourself and your loved ones to a truly sensual experience! Our 'Hofgmeinschaft Bärebach' farm is located at 950m altitude, has NO VEHICLE ACCESS, and the entire infrastructure is very simple: here, you'll feel like you're in a secluded alpine hut! The farm is wonderfully remote: nowhere else will you find such silence! Listen to the gentle jingle of cowbells and the soft sounds of Mother Nature, let your thoughts roam free, and truly unwind: this is pure deep relaxation! We are nestled in the heart of the Gantrisch Nature Park, offering numerous excursion possibilities for the whole family: hiking, swimming, observing animals, or exploring the still-pristine Sense Gorge. There's something for every taste here. Or come to us to rediscover the night sky: the Gantrisch area is renowned for its minimal light pollution and clear views of the stars. You can use the simple outdoor kitchen and a composting toilet near the farm (all about 150m from the yurt), or you are welcome to share the kitchen and bathroom in the farmhouse. We look forward to warmly welcoming you to 'Hofgmeinschaft Bärebach'! By the way: our yurt is also suitable for winter: thanks to the fire, it gets wonderfully warm and cozy, and in the surrounding area, there are various options for snow activities: winter hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, cross-country skiing, or an excursion into the icicle-laden Sense Gorge, just to name a few. IMPORTANT: Please note that there is NO VEHICLE ACCESS to the farm. The last part of the path crosses cattle, yak, and sheep pastures. From the Milken bus stop, it's a 15-minute walk to the farm, and from our parking lot in Milken, it's about 20 minutes. Please be sure to consult the map on our website at Baerebach.ch/lageplan. You will need good footwear and should definitely arrive during daylight hours. A flashlight is highly recommended at night.
