The camp is located on a terrace in front of my house, offering breathtaking views over the Rhone Valley. Situated at a good 1000 meters above sea level, it's conveniently close to the valley station of the cable car leading to the Rosswald hiking area. You'll enjoy a unique panorama of the Valais mountains. This camp is the perfect starting point for hikers and bikers. From the Rosswald mountain station, you can take the Smuggler's Path to Binntal or explore the circular trails along the 'Suonen' (historic irrigation channels). The Simplon high-altitude trail to Rothwald is wild and romantic. We're near the Rosswald valley station and the Brigerbad thermal baths. Our central location makes it ideal for excursions to Zermatt, Saas Fee, or the UNESCO World Heritage Jungfrau-Aletsch region, including Rieder- and Bettmeralp. Electricity for small devices (max. 4 amps = no heating/air conditioning) is included. If desired, higher electricity capacity is available for an additional charge of CHF 5.00 per night.
