Ein Aufenthalt auf dem Bauernhof ist gleichbedeutend mit einem engen Kontakt zur Natur und der charakteristischen Umgebung des Val d'Orcia. Während des Aufenthalts können die Touristen den Bio-Garten besichtigen, im Landwirtschaftsrestaurant essen, Produkte im Laden kaufen, einen Picknickkorb anfordern, an der Führung durch die Ställe und die Käserei teilnehmen und sich an zahlreichen Aktivitäten versuchen. Auf unserem Bauernhof gibt es insgesamt 8 Stellplätze. 4 für Wohnmobile und 4 für Zelte. In dem für Wohnmobile reservierten Bereich ist es möglich, das Stromnetz zu nutzen. Die Gäste können die Toiletten und die angeschlossenen Duschen frei benutzen. Die angrenzende Käserei, in der täglich Pecorino di Pienza hergestellt wird, ermöglicht es den Gästen, die Tiere aus nächster Nähe kennen zu lernen. Neben Schafen und Ziegen gibt es auch Pfauen, Esel, Hühner, Hunde und Katzen. Die beste Zeit, um die Stille und den Frieden des Ortes zu genießen, ist sicherlich bei Sonnenuntergang, wenn die Sonne langsam hinter den sanften toskanischen Hügeln untergeht und die Stille auf den Hof fällt.

A wonderfully romantic atmosphere, like something you only see in movies. Everywhere you look, you discover beautiful things. A truly exceptional place. A visit to the restaurant is also worthwhile. Sophisticated, regional cuisine accompanied by delicious wines. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Amazing view from this place. Place to put the tent was fine. There are a lot of animals and obviously they can be noisy, but it wasn't a problem for me to sleep. Had a nice dinner in the restaurant, but most of all a fantastic breakfast where the view was decisive. The shower is next to the toilet, which is also used for the guests of the restaurant and that's a bit odd sometimes. I can be busy with tourists, because the restaurant really seems to be very popular with Americans. Otherwise, lovely stay.

A beautiful place with an overwhelming view from the restaurant. The food is brilliant, also because much of it is homemade. All the staff are very friendly. We have very fond memories of the place and will definitely recommend Il Casale. We found the camping pitches, for Nomady standards, too small and thus too close together. We would find four instead of eight pitches more suitable. In our opinion, the toilets should be cleaned more often. This is especially true because the toilets are also used during the day by some of the large groups of day tourists.

Beautiful view, but it was clear that the main focus was on the countless daily visitors and the restaurant. Only one toilet and shower for men and women. Visitors could also look into the showers from outside. The worst part, however, was that the many visitors would then all at once (approx. 10-20 pax.) look into the sanitary facilities. If you were unlucky, you were just in there… Breakfast for €10 was truly ridiculous for what you got. You could tell there too that you were rather seen as a nuisance by the service. The restaurant itself was good, but far too overpriced for the quality. It was a nice time because of the view and atmosphere, but there are much nicer places for camping in the area.

Der Ausblick am Restaurant ist wunderschön. Alles andere lässt leider zu wünschen übrig. Das Essen im Restaurant ist im Verhältnis zu anderen Restaurants überteuert und die Portionen verhältnismäßig klein. Vom Stellplatz aus selbst hat man leider keinen tollen Weitblick. Für 8 Wohnmobil-Stellplätze, mehrere Zeltplätze, Restaurantbesucher und Tagesbesucher (Busweise) stehen insg. 2 Toiletten und 1 Behinderten WC zur Verfügung, das ist definitiv zu wenig! Wir waren leider nicht begeistert und kommen nicht wieder.
