Discover a magical place on the southeast coast of Sardinia, in the Sarrabus sub-region. Sa Rutta means "the cave" in Sardinian. We invite you to a unique experience in this ancient and once remote location, formerly the land of shepherds and farmers. Your camp is nestled in nature, accessible only via a dirt road approximately 20 minutes long. A high-clearance vehicle, preferably a 4x4, is required. This experience is perfect for anyone seeking a wild and adventurous camping getaway. The campsite is flat and wide enough to accommodate vehicles up to 6 meters in length. Just a few steps away, you'll find viewpoints offering unobstructed views of the sea and Murtas beach. All essential amenities are nearby: a WC, hot shower, and running water (non-potable). A relaxation area with hammocks awaits you in the shade of the trees. You can book a typical Sardinian dinner, prepared by renowned local chefs. And if you're looking for even more adventure, you can book a quad, trekking, e-bike, or kayak excursion to explore the region.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Adriano hat uns alles sehr gut erklärt und hat uns herzlich in Empfang genommen. Er war stehts zur Verfügung und hat sich a Morgen erkundigz wie es uns geht. Sehr toller Gastgeber und super Erfahrung. Da wir auch die einzigen auf dem Camp waren, hatten wir alles zu unserr Verfügung. Herzlichen Dank!

Beautiful, quiet pitch in the middle of nature – no one far and wide, just a few goats. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The site is top-equipped and offers many extras. A special highlight was the typical Sardinian dinner in a pleasant company with fine food and wine. Many thanks to Adriano, Fabio and Sergio.

Camping Sa Rutta is one of the best places we've ever stayed. It's not accessible with a normal car; we had a Ford pickup, and that was just right. The drive up was very adventurous, but once we were on top of the mountain and saw the view, it was all worth it! We were almost completely alone there; a herd of goats and a small fox visited us. The animals weren't afraid and came quite close to us. A little downhill from our spot was a grotto where you could hang out to eat or simply be protected from the wind. It was very clean and lovingly designed. Outside, there was also a semi-cave where you could barbecue or just make a fire. Words can't describe how great the place was. You just have to see it and let it work its magic on you! With all this raving, I also have to add that 1 day, or a maximum of 2 days, is enough because there isn't that much to do. Should we come back to Sardinia, we will visit this special place again!

Sa Rutta more than exceeded my expectations. The drive to the place was beautiful. 4x4 and ground clearance are a must! The breakfast with local products, fresh and lovingly prepared, a dream.
