Wonderfully quiet pitch in the middle of an orchard. We spent two days under a large cherry tree and explored Dresden during the day. Ludwig and his family have brought an old nursery back to life and grow a variety of fruits and vegetables themselves (there's even a small farm shop where we bought very tasty plums and striped beets). Great respect for this project and all the best for your future! We had a great time with you. In just under half an hour, you can reach the center of Dresden on foot or by public transport. We were self-sufficient with our setup and didn't need anything else (except sun for the solar panels :-).
A perfect place with great hosts.
With Ludwig, who was very friendly and uncomplicated, we found exactly the right spot to find peace despite city life. In the middle of Dresden with sheep in the orchard meadow... that's pure happiness! We wanted to be self-sufficient and therefore didn't miss anything. With our Berlingo, the hedge path was no problem, and with the e-bike, we could be at the Frauenkirche in fifteen minutes. We are enthusiastic about Ludwig's ideas for the farm, wish the young family many like-minded people, and will definitely come again.
Adventure describes it best. The camp is super close to Dresden city center, about 30 minutes away, and you're right in the middle of the city. Ludwig and his wife are super nice and friendly. Unfortunately, there's only a composting toilet and no real way to wash your hands or at least wash dishes, so everything has to happen in the camper. It was also adventurous that all 3 campers during our stay were supplied with power via a single outdoor socket and one thin extension cord. You can do it that way, but it's already dangerous 🤔 but if you can stand self-sufficiently, all in all, it's a great place. Oh, and the access road to the camp is also exciting; you should have good tire tread and know exactly how tall, wide, and long your rig is.
Great spot in a great location for anyone who can stand autonomously. A relaxed 15-minute bike ride to the Zwinger. Ground clearance really helps with the approach :) but you stand beautifully among the cherry trees. Super nice host and it's worth checking out the homepage to see what else will be developed on this beautiful site.
Ludwig is a very pleasant host. The pitch, on an orchard meadow, allows you to unwind after the tourist hustle and bustle in Dresden. Highly recommended.
