Zelten am Harz, Dorfidylle am Bach

Discover a tranquil spot on our private property in the village, just a few kilometers from the Harz Mountains, perfect for relaxing and camping. You'll have plenty of space here and can choose your preferred spot around our house upon arrival. Feel free to use our cozy, covered terrace with a table and chairs. If you wish, we can even light a small bonfire in the evening – the fire pit is always available for your use. To help you settle in, every guest receives a fresh Hasseröder beer from the nearby Hasseröder Brewery upon arrival. In the charming village of Veckenstedt, you'll find a Landmarkt where you can shop at regular discount prices. The market is just a 10-minute walk from our garden. There's also a bakery with a cafe and a Volksbank ATM. We can even cool your groceries for you by arrangement. The A36 motorway is only a 5-minute drive away, making our place an ideal stopover if you're just passing through. When you stay with us, you'll have exclusive access to a fully equipped bathroom in our adjacent house for showering and using the toilet. This private facility, complete with drinking water and electricity, is solely for your use during your stay and is thoroughly cleaned before each arrival. If you're arriving by car, you can park it safely under our carport. I'll be happy to provide you with tips for hiking or cycling tours in the area. We are very child-friendly (we have a 2-year-old son ourselves) and have plenty of equipment for children on-site. A high chair is available, and there's a large sandbox in the garden that you're welcome to use. Please note, however, that the property is not fully fenced for child safety, so please keep an eye on your little ones. Unfortunately, we don't have space for motorhomes or large campers. Vehicles up to a maximum height of 1.90 m can park under our carport. We look forward to welcoming you! See you soon 😉
