My VILLA HÜHNERBUNT is located on the very edge of my beloved hometown, MENZIKEN, directly adjacent to the agricultural zone. It enjoys full sun exposure throughout the day and is wonderfully quiet. Here, amidst the organic natural tranquility, you can truly relax, recharge, and find pure soul balm at my personal power spot! Simply enjoying nature and letting it work its magic is glorious, especially when you can admire the Central Swiss mountains, PILATUS and RIGI, from afar. Walks, for example, along the WYNE river towards Beromünster, hikes, bike tours, excursions, and much more, present themselves effortlessly. Menziken, with approximately 4,500 inhabitants, is simply a beautiful village where people still know and greet each other. Our local recreation areas, HOMBERG and STIERENBERG, are also very quickly accessible and invite you, among other things, to enjoy Kneipp hydrotherapy. The outdoor and indoor swimming pools in Menziken, various shopping opportunities, and museums, such as the TOBACCO MUSEUM, the "ALTI SAGI" Museum, and the MENZIKEN HOSPITAL, shape our local landscape. Even in bad weather, there are many great opportunities to get to know our region, its customs, land, and people. The numerous restaurants are truly worth a visit. The TROLERHOF, a 10-minute walk from Villa Hühnerbunt, with its old "Stübli," is a truly charming old farmhouse restaurant. But also the impressive old WALDEGG inn and many other fantastic hosts conjure up the finest dishes for every taste. Reinach AG and Menziken AG have somehow grown together over the years, and if you miss the town sign, you suddenly find yourself in Reinach, which in turn offers many more shopping opportunities. The ice rink and tennis courts are also easily accessible. Just 15 minutes from Menziken, you can play golf, and the truly brave can even go skydiving. I always say: "Here in the Upper Wynental, we have almost everything – except an IKEA!" Lake HALLWIL is about a 7-minute drive away, and Lake SEMPACH is about a 15-minute drive away. Very close to Villa Hühnerbunt is the ALTERSHEIM FALKENSTEIN bus stop, with buses in all directions. From MENZIKEN TRAIN STATION, trains run to and from Aarau. Please contact me urgently BEFORE your arrival and make sure to get your booking confirmed by me, as space at Villa Hühnerbunt is limited, especially if you arrive spontaneously with a motorhome or tent. Well, you can certainly just arrive on spec. But don't be disappointed if there's no space. However, we always find a solution somehow.
