Ägelseeblick

A place to unwind and enjoy the tranquility, with views of Lake Ägelsee and the Simmental valley. We are located on the edge of the Diemtigtal Nature Park, offering wonderful hiking and biking opportunities. Your camper van (4x4 recommended) can be parked directly next to our rarely used wooden barn. In autumn and winter, it's very often fog-free and sunny here. The camp is best reached with an off-road camper or van, as the access road is quite steep. Around the barn, you can set up your deck chair or table and chairs and enjoy a meal. With views of Lake Ägelsee and the sounds of birdsong or cowbells in your ear, you can perfectly switch off and relax. Fresh water is available from the well. With a bit of luck, you might even spot golden eagles! A walking path leads around the lake. Culinary delights can be found in the Nature Park fridge at Gasthof Bergli, or in the valley, there are restaurants with good, regional cuisine. If you're planning an excursion to the famous Niesen or Stockhorn mountains, the valley stations are reachable by car in about 15 and 20 minutes respectively. In about 30 minutes, you can be at Lake Thun for swimming or a boat trip.
