Quiet pitch located behind the old schoolhouse in Horrenbach. An ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours*, or leisurely strolls in the pre-Alpine surroundings (Sigriswilergrat, Eriz, Hohgant…). Alternatively, simply 'be and enjoy' around the house. As an extra, a barrel sauna invites you to a wonderfully relaxing sweat (additional charge). *Directly on the King's Stage (Langnau – Thun) of the Herzroute. Guests are often greeted shortly after arrival by the lovely neighborhood cat Söckli, and with a bit of luck, chamois, deer, or stags may appear at the forest edge in the early morning hours, depending on the season. The view of the starry sky on a clear night is also priceless. The basic price includes the use of the WC + shower in the house, a gas grill, garden table and chairs, and electricity. We look forward to making you feel at home with us! Note for guests with (small) children: The property ends towards the forest with a steep slope without a fence. As an alternative to constantly keeping an eye on your kids, you are welcome to roam and play on the neighboring public square, which belongs to the municipal administration.
