Here, where only foxes and hares usually bid goodnight, you can enjoy the view of the Stanserhorn in absolute tranquility. Nothing is more relaxing than firing up the tiled stove while it snows outside. Brewing coffee on the wood-burning stove – it tastes twice as good! The hut has no mains electricity, only solar power (for lighting) with a cigarette lighter socket, USB, and a DAB radio. When there's snow, our hut is only accessible on foot, with touring skis, or snowshoes. Currently, until mid-November approximately, it's easily accessible with a 4x4. The amount of snowfall determines how far you can drive. Therefore, the journey can take between 0.5 to almost 2 hours on foot. Provisions are available at the hut. Basic foodstuffs such as pasta, rice, tomato sauce, coffee, sugar, beer, wine, etc., are stocked in the hut and can be used for a fee. A fondue pot (caquelon) is also available.
