Alte Mosterei

Lakes Zug and Lauerz, Mount Rigi and Rossberg, the tree-lined avenue with 150 fruit trees, and the Goldau Nature and Animal Park invite you to visit. The camp is nestled among vegetable fields and fruit trees, with the scenic tree-lined avenue walk right by the camp. A fire pit and a modern WC are at your disposal. A organic farm shop, offering everything your heart desires, is just a 5-minute walk away. In 10 minutes, you'll reach the public lido, and the Goldau Nature and Animal Park is a pleasant 20-minute walk. The trailhead for hiking up Mount Rigi is just around the corner. In spring, the Rossberg landslide area transforms into a true orchid paradise. You can even see the majestic Mythen peaks from here. The Arth-Rigi Railway takes you from Goldau up Mount Rigi, and the cable car whisks you to Rigi Scheidegg in just a few minutes. Train and bus connections, both long-distance and local, are available from Arth-Goldau station. By arrangement, you are also welcome to use our premises at the "Alte Mosterei" (www.alte-mosterei.ch) and, if desired, purchase drinks or meat from our Galloway herd for your barbecue evening.
