Camp Vogelwald

Nestled at 1050 meters above sea level, above the fog line, our camp is located in the municipality of Alpthal near Einsiedeln. It's a true paradise for nature lovers, set amidst the wild forest, directly by the Vogelwaldbach stream and the Alpthal-Haggenegg hiking trail. The camp features a fire pit with a grill grate and wooden stools, a small wood supply (1 crate) provided free of charge, a composting toilet, and 10 liters of fresh drinking water available upon request. The stream is directly accessible from the camp, perfect for splashing and cooling off. The Alpthal-Rothenthurm hiking and biking route is just 150 meters from the camp, while the Brunni-Holzegg valley station and the Mythen region hiking area are 4.5 km away. The bus station is a mere 5-minute walk. Please note, access to the camp is via a slightly ascending, very stony natural road, making it suitable only for off-road vehicles. Bookings for more than 4 people and more than 1 vehicle will not be accepted.
