Lindigshof Getaway - We'd love to share this beautiful spot on Earth with you and offer our orchard for your very own personal escape. From our meadow, you'll enjoy completely unobstructed views across fields to the nearby forest. Our farm is nestled in a small, idyllic village in the beautiful Wartburgkreis region of Thuringia. We are located directly on the Werra-Suhltal cycle path, with a connection to the Werratal cycle path. The Ettenhausen dam is just diagonally opposite the property, a mere five-minute walk away. Bad Salzungen, the Merkers mine, and the city of Eisenach with Wartburg Castle are all nearby and invite you to visit. The Rennsteig hiking and cycling trail is also in the immediate vicinity. For cozy evenings, a large fire pit is available, and a morning bread roll service is possible by arrangement. A barbecue can also be provided. In our laundry room, we offer two new bathrooms with shower and toilet, and a facility for washing dishes. Our comfortable wooden terrace invites you to linger and is available to our guests. Guests arriving by bicycle will receive a table and chairs, and gladly, necessary dishes for their stay. Bicycles can be stored securely. Shopping facilities for daily needs can be found 2.5 km away. On-site, we have an ice cream freezer from the Eisenach manufacturer Zucker & Zimt (organic, vegan) and a refrigerator with cold drinks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lindigshof! Andrea was very hospitable and helpful. Everything we needed was there, and the place is maintained with a lot of dedication and care. The view from our pitch was a highlight :) We would love to come back!

A beautiful place. Despite the rain, we had a lovely and valuable time. The wide view over the fields to the forest lets your soul unwind. The pitches are arranged with plenty of space, and sheep graze in between. Truly great.

Super netter Empfang, sehr gepflegter Platz, top Sanitär-Anlagen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Das Wetter hat nicht mitgespielt, dafür konnten wir entspannt durch die ruhige Umgebung etwas Schlaf aus den letzten actionreichen Tagen nachholen.

A beautiful place to relax. Hostess Andrea was super nice and helped us out with an extension cord. The bread roll service works perfectly, and waking up in the morning to see the sheep next to you is simply wonderful. One shouldn't forget about the road, as it was quite busy this weekend. The electricity at 1 EUR per kilowatt-hour is quite expensive in our opinion, but the bathroom is free, and all other amenities like grey and black water disposal, as well as a laundry room, are available. The farm is designed with great attention to detail, and we felt extremely comfortable among the sheep herd, the horses, and not to forget the mini pigs. You can go on excursions directly from the site, and for a cool-down for your four-legged friend in these temperatures, the nearby Etterlal dam is available on-site. Very nice place, sanitary facilities also very nice. Everything is quite lovingly prepared. We had sheep right next to our bus when we woke up (separated by a fence). The view was also a dream. All in all, highly recommended. Also, the hostess was very, very nice. The world needs more people with such visions. Keep up the great work!
