You'll find a beautiful traditional orchard (with very young trees) right by our mill stream. The pitch is shaded by trees, and the ground is flat, making it ideal for camping.
Enjoy a fantastic view of the mountains and the Wehretal valley. The Wehre is the stream that powers our mill. It originates on the Hoher Meißner, the over 800-meter-high mountain that gives our district its name: Werra-Meißner-Kreis.
Barbecue facilities and a fire pit are available. Here, you can soak in the evening sun, witness beautiful sunsets, and listen to the gentle murmur of the stream.
The meadow is located on the outskirts of Oetmannshausen, offering wonderful paths for hiking and biking.
The district capital, Eschwege, is about a 15-minute drive away. Eisenach or Kassel can be reached in just under half an hour.
We ourselves live in the old water mill with two dogs and a cat. We're happy to assist you if you need anything.
We offer a WC and shower in our home, especially for our tent campers.

Ich bin Jahrgang 1999 und wohne zusammen mit meiner Patchwork-Familie, zwei Hunden und einer Katze im schönen Mittelgebirge an der Landesgrenze zwischen Thüringen und Hessen.
Inspiriert durch die schönen Dörfer mit ihnen Fachwerkhäusern, die naturbelassene Landschaft mit Bergen, Tälern und Wäldern sind wir 2019 auf die Idee gekommen, unseren Lebensraum auch Gästen anzubieten. Hauptberuflich arbeite ich an der Instandsetzung alter Gebäude.
Wir selber wohnen in einer alten Wassermühle, die wir in Eigenleistung wieder aufgebaut haben. Daneben haben wir weitere kleine Fachwerkhäuser saniert, die wir Euch heute als gemütliche Feriendomizile anbieten möchten. Wir haben uns zum Ziel gesetzt, Euch eine erholsame und schöne Lebenszeit zu bieten.

Oetmannshausen ist ein lebendiges Dorf. Uns ist die gegenseitige Rücksichtnahme auf unsere Nachbarn wichtig. Daher bitten wir euch um ein entsprechendes Verhalten. Der Platz ist ungeeignet für Veranstaltungen.
Wenn ihr Hunde mitbringt, achtet bitte darauf, dass sie nicht frei im Dorf rumlaufen :-)

You can cancel up to 24 hours before the latest check-in time on the arrival day. The refund includes the booking amount minus 1.5x the displayed Nomady fee. The cutoff is the latest check-in time of this spot — not midnight. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. Quiet location, very nice welcome from the family. The place is very lovingly decorated with lights. The toilet and shower are located in the family's house.
Pure nature and very friendly hosts. You can't ask for much more.
Ein außergewöhnlich schöner Stellplatz. Wir wurden trotz spontaner Buchung sehr nett empfangen. Es gibt Sitzmöglichkeiten, Wasser, Strom und alles ist toll mit Lichtern dekoriert. Wir waren eine Nacht dort und haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt.
Beautifully located spot right by the stream. Very well-maintained grounds where you immediately feel at home. Use of the sanitary facilities is possible and, of course, gladly done. Absolute peace and idyll.

A very beautiful place, with a wide view of nature. Great with very nice new seating options. Definitely recommended.
Beautiful large meadow in a great region. We were warmly welcomed by the father, and our children were immediately offered ice cream. Very helpful and hospitable. A great beer garden is just a 15-minute walk away. The nearby main road is noticeable but not disturbing. We certainly weren't there for the last time. Thank you, Tim!
