Your Moonwood Shelter is nestled beside a beech and birch forest, above a small village, in the heart of a vast woodland. If you're lucky, you'll enjoy a starry sky in the evening. The shelter is equipped with a mosquito net.

"Ich liebe es morgens durch das noch nasse Gras zu stapfen und die Morgenluft einzuatmen, die nach Apfel und Lagerfeuer riecht vom Vorabend", erzählt Cornelius begeistert, als er von der Apfelaktion auf der benachbarten Obstwiese bei Freunden mit vollem Korb in den Waldpark zurück kehrt. Hier warten viele leckere traditionelle Sorten auch für Dich zum Selberpflücken! Sprich uns gerne an. Deine Äpfel kannst Du direkt frisch vor Ort zubereiten, egal ob Du von heissem Bratapfel mit Vanillesoße, Apple Crumble oder Wiener Apfelstrudel träumst - für jede Kreation steht Dir und Deinen Freunden unsere geräumige und gut ausgestattete Küche zur Verfügung. Our night with Cornelius and Lukas was something very special for us. The flexible arrival time kept all our options open, and we were still personally greeted and given a tour of the grounds at 9 PM. There's a fully equipped kitchen, a barbecue area, and sanitary facilities, so we lacked nothing. The bed in the shelter was super comfortable. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back!

Lukas and Cornelius are super nice hosts who are very interested in the well-being of their visitors. The shelters are located in an idyllic forest and are spaced far apart, so everyone can enjoy their private space. Chopping firewood for the campfire, grilling, a hike through the adjacent fields to Milchhof Traupe, and a bike ride to the nearby Seeburger See under bright sunshine gave us two wonderful days.
The night in the shelter was a great adventure for our family. The bed in the forest is extremely comfortable and we were able to sleep well as a family of four. The place is lovingly prepared and Lukas and Cornelius are friendly and accommodating hosts. We would love to come back again.
