Your camp is set on my uncultivated farm, amidst a vast pasture dotted with idyllic groves of trees. Here, you'll discover an oasis of tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle, yet easily accessible. You'll find a mobile pizza oven, a covered dry-stone bar, and a scenic viewpoint. You're welcome to use the farm's facilities, including the sanitary amenities and kitchen. The nearest village, Pierrefontaine-les-Varans, is about an hour from the Swiss border in the Doubs department. The surrounding area offers abundant opportunities for hiking and exploring unique natural sites with waterfalls and springs. The banks of the Cours du Val and the Reverotte, or the marked trails in the Epaisses forest, have the potential to delight both casual strollers and experienced hikers. There are also trails for mountain bikers. For gourmets, I offer various delicacies, all homemade and from my own production.

War zum 2. Mal da und bin nach wie vor begeistert von dem Platz. Wer Ruhe, Abgeschiedenheit und Entschleunigung in der Natur sucht, ist da genau richtig. Der Platz hat alles, was man braucht. Und das Dominique das alte Bauernhaus zur Verfügung stellt, ist richtig toll. Dort gibt es eine Toilette und Dusche, die ich jedoch nicht brauchte, da ich alles dabei hatte.
Auch Wasser kann man dort auffüllen. Zudem bietet das Haus Schutz bei Gewitter oder Kühler bei heißen Nachmittage.

Nice place in the middle of a lot of nature. We stayed for e few nights and everything was nice!
It was beautiful and idyllic. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be happy to come back.
We, as a family, were able to spend 4 days at "Cubili". It was the ideal pitch, especially since the weather was very changeable. The old farmhouse offered us extended living space for the whole family to comfortably enjoy a raclette in front of the wood-burning stove. We had a toilet/shower and warm water the entire time. The diesel generator provided us with electricity for the evening. Another highlight was the outdoor wood-fired pizza oven in the garden. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Insgesamt sehr ruhig und idyllisch gelegen. Leider funktionierte die Solaranlage nicht darum mussten wir Strom / Licht über den Dieselgenerator machen. (Licht im Wc nur mit Taschenlampe) Das Häuschen hat seinen Charme ist aber recht in die Jahre gekommen sowie auch die Einrichtung.
Very nice and remote place!
A beautiful spot, surrounded by meadows and forests. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. The simple farmhouse offers plenty of space (in case it rains) and even a hot shower. It has a practical fire pit and a super pizza oven. And in the evening, friendly cattle come to visit, looking for some petting. We can't say anything about the hosts, as we unfortunately didn't see them.
An incredibly beautiful place with many hiking opportunities in the surrounding area. If you're looking for solitude in nature, this is the perfect spot. It's also great to have the option of using the old, uninhabited farmhouse during thunderstorms and rain. That's where the toilet, shower, and water are located. My dog and I felt more than very comfortable. Thank you, Dominique, for making this wonderful place available.
