Very spacious meadow on the edge of the trees, nestled in nature next to a gite and farm. The nearest village, Pierrefontaine-les-Varans, is located about an hour from the Swiss border in the Doubs department. The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for hiking and discovering unique natural areas with waterfalls and springs. The banks of the Cours du Val and the Reverotte, or the marked trails in the Epaisses forest, have the potential to satisfy both casual strollers and experienced hikers. There are also trails for mountain bikers. For gourmets, I offer various homemade delicacies from my own production.

Valerie is a very nice host. The grounds are very large and there's a lot of space. A high-voltage pylon runs across the property. Unfortunately, a minus point for the lack of attention to the overall picture. A bit of mowing here, a bit of tidying there, a bit of cleaning here and the whole place would feel much, much more inviting.
