The parking lot is nestled in the forest, right by the Castellberghütte in Vogtsburg-Achkarren. It's about a 10-minute walk to the center of Achkarren.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HUT IS PARTICULARLY POPULAR FOR PRIVATE GROUPS AND EVENTS, ESPECIALLY ON WEEKENDS. THIS MAY LEAD TO SOME NOISE DISTURBANCES.
According to the local tourism tax regulations of the town of Vogtsburg i.K., all non-local persons staying in the municipality are subject to registration and tourism tax. The tourism tax of €2.00 per person aged 15 and over, or €1.00 for children, will be transferred directly during the booking process. By paying the tourism tax, you will receive the KONUS guest card, which grants you numerous discounts and allows you to use buses and trains free of charge throughout the entire region. You can pick up your guest card at the Citizen and Tourist Information Center in Vogtsburg i.K..
The Citizen and Tourist Information Center is currently open as follows:
April - October: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Saturday 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM.
October - March: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

You can cancel up to the latest check-in time on the arrival day. The refund includes the booking amount minus 1.5x the displayed Nomady fee. The cutoff is the latest check-in time set for this spot — not the end of the calendar day. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. Da die Castellberg-Hütte auch als "Partymeile" (oft am Wochenende) genutzt wird, kann man eine böse Überraschung erleben (z.B. Hochzeits- und Gebutrstagsfeiern) Wer dann Ruhe
und Erholung sucht, ist hier an der falschen Adresse. Nicht geeignet als "Nomady-Angebot".
