Verschnufplätzle mit Schlehenblick

This pitch is nestled behind an idyllic orchard meadow with apple, pear, elderberry, sloe, quince, serviceberry, and many other old varieties, right on the edge of the forest – a place to breathe deeply, relax, enjoy, and recharge. The surroundings offer countless possibilities; nature here is unique and pure. Fresh herbs from the herb spiral, mushrooms and blueberries from the forest, and about 20 meters away live our four Göttingen miniature pigs, whose curious grunts and wrinkled faces often bring a smile to your face. The secluded spot is located directly on the edge of the forest, approx. 250m from our farm. The ground is mostly grass. A fire bowl with a small grill grate is available. Please collect firewood in the forest or book it on request. Here, truly everything that's fun outdoors is possible. Fishing at Schluchsee or Schlüchtsee, forest bathing, swimming in the Mettma (a stream directly by the farm), bird watching, cycling, hiking, and much more. Nearby are the Rothaus Brewery and, in the village of Grafenhausen, the Black Forest House of Senses. There are hiking trails for children. Directly opposite, in winter, you'll find a small ski lift and a toboggan run. Shopping facilities like a bakery, supermarket, café, and döner shop are available in the next village – Grafenhausen. The Rothaus Brewery can be reached on foot in about 20-25 minutes. Besides the excellent Zäpfle beer, you'll also find plenty of culinary delights at the Rothaus Genusswelt. At Speckhüsli, delicious Rösti with various toppings are served.
