Hello there!
I'm offering you a pitch on a private property right by the Weser river in a very rural setting, yet not far from the beautiful cities of Minden, Petershagen, and Bückeburg with its stunning castle. Water and electricity hook-ups are available. There's also space for a tent further back in the garden, though please note there are no toilet or shower facilities.
The property also features a self-built beach bar with a small sandy area where you can relax a bit. A small covered area with a drink fridge and mini-oven can also be used.
The Weser river is about 200m away and offers opportunities for canoeing or simply for walking and picnicking. A canoe can be rented for a fee.
You can enjoy beautiful cycling tours, for example, to the Waterway Cross, to the Minden lock, where passenger ships also operate, or to Porta Westfalica to the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument.
The Lahde bathing lake with its beach and beach bar is also only about 5 km away, ideal for stand-up paddling. A SUP can also be rented.

We had a fantastic stay at Birgit's private pitch near the Weser. The location is simply great – quiet, close to nature, and perfect for relaxing days. The Weser river is within walking distance and invites you for strolls and explorations.
The pitch itself was very well-maintained and offered ample space for our car with a caravan. Birgit thought of everything, and we felt comfortable from the very first minute.
We especially want to highlight Birgit's warm hospitality. She was always available, gave us great tips for the area, and made sure we lacked nothing. Her open and friendly manner made our stay special.
We can warmly recommend this private pitch by the Weser at Birgit's and would love to come back!
Very quiet, uncomplicated, nice welcome, problem-free electricity and water supply. Due to the time of year, the other offers were not an option.
My first impression was misleading. We've always stayed in large, open spaces with wide views, and suddenly here we were, nestled between houses. However, once the caravan was properly positioned, with the side opening facing the garden, it was absolutely lovely – a little paradise. Birgit, the hostess, is incredibly nice and helpful. Rewriting her own caravan's reservation so we could park differently was no problem at all. Our two dogs had a wonderful time romping around the large garden. Our hosts wanted to trim the hedge the next day, and they accommodated us, even asking about our sleeping times – so sweet 🙏
All in all, a clear recommendation for anyone seeking peace and relaxation 👍👍👍
Nice contact, but unfortunately quite loud in the mornings from the neighborhood.
