True to the motto: Sleeping with the Sheep, the uniquely historic Sheepfold, built by Gottfried Bandhauer, invites you to visit Grimschleben.
In this unique building, nestled in a rural idyll along the Europa Cycle Path, you can admire an exhibition about the works of its builder.
On the premises, pitches are available for tents, motorhomes/caravans, and more, which can be used for a few days.
In the wider surroundings, there are numerous opportunities for shopping, bars, and restaurants.
An outdoor swimming pool is available in the summer months in the neighboring small town of Nienburg, which can be quickly reached on foot, by bike, and more.

Sehr schöner, grosser Platz, extrem ruhig und sauber. Super netter und unkomplizierter Gastgeber. Der Schafstall selber ist historisch und die Geschichte kann auf Google nachgelesen werden.

A very special place! We thoroughly enjoyed camping on the beautiful square in front of the architecturally unique sheepfold. Martin gives a very informative tour inside the sheepfold, including a video and information boards. Shower, toilet, outdoor tap, and electricity, everything is there. Thank you!
Martin is a very friendly host whose life story is connected to the place. The location is perfect, absolute tranquility, a historic sheepfold right next door, and equipped with a toilet and shower. Absolutely recommendable!
