Zwischen Velo und Gemüse

Our farm is nestled amidst a sea of vegetable fields. Hop on your bike here, and you're already on one of the many cycling routes winding through the Bernese Seeland. Enjoy your breakfast with breathtaking views of the Bernese Alps, the Jura mountain range, and the sprawling fields. Right behind you is our former vegetable storage facility, now transformed into a cozy guest room with a private bathroom, refrigerator, firewood, and a fire pit – all for your shared use. Your camp borders the agricultural zone and is separated from our main house by the yellow warehouse. This ensures plenty of privacy while still offering the luxury of a private bathroom. As we are retired, the warehouse is no longer in active use. On rainy days, you can utilize the entire ground floor and even park your vehicle, up to 8 meters long, indoors. You can wash up in the former preparation room. From here, it's just a stone's throw to Lake Biel and the Aare River. And the French-speaking part of Switzerland, with its historic villages and lakes, is also easily accessible. Our farm is located in what is known as the "vegetable garden of Switzerland." The very dark soil is a testament to the former moorland and the fertile earth. A vegetable educational trail will tell you more about it.
