Hinter Weidli an der Sihl

Our camp is nestled approximately 50 meters above the Sihl River. Here, the Sihl still flows as it always has – wild and untamed. Our camp leaves nothing to be desired for nomads at heart. You'll find a fire pit, a wooden table, and a bench. A 'Schiterbig' (woodpile) provides a natural windbreak. The compost toilet is conveniently located right on site. The road by the pitch is only used by our farm for access, with the milk truck passing every two days to collect organic milk from our farm. Otherwise, you'll enjoy absolute tranquility here. Our farm is about 300 meters away, where you can access electricity and drinking water if needed. Your spot is an ideal starting point for biking and hiking tours. The wild Sihl awaits discovery! The camp is very family-friendly, with a small stream perfect for splashing around. The village of Egg is just half a kilometer away, boasting a wonderful public playground at the schoolhouse. Walk 1 km towards Etzel to reach the Teufelsbrücke Etzel (Devil's Bridge Etzel), the birthplace of Paracelsus. The Sihlsee is a mere 5-minute drive, and Einsiedeln is just 10 minutes by car.
